Navratri is one of India’s most vibrant and joyous festivals — nine nights of dance, devotion, and dressing up. Choosing the right saree for Navratri is a tradition as important as the Garba dance itself. In 2026, the trend is clearly leaning towards handcrafted, handloom sarees — authentic, eco-friendly, and steeped in culture.
Here are our top saree picks from Vasanam India for Navratri 2026, organised by the navratri colour calendar.

▶ Styling Tips for Navratri
• Keep jewellery traditional — oxidised silver or temple gold works best with handloom sarees
• Choose lightweight cotton sarees for Garba dancing — silk is better for the puja days
• Pin your pallu securely before Garba to avoid tripping
• Wear comfortable footwear — traditional jutis or kolhapuris
• A gajra (flower garland) in the hair completes the look beautifully
